How Ford panels usually behave

Ford panels vary by vehicle and generation. Bronco and Mustang body lines can be tight, so a dent on a line is a different job than a flat door center.

Models we see most

F-150, Bronco, Mustang, Explorer, Escape, and Super Duty are common. We use the year and photos to identify the panel before giving a meaningful range.

Steel, aluminum, and access

F-150 bodies from 2015 forward are aluminum, unlike older steel F-150s. That changes the PDR work, so we confirm metal from the year and photos; aluminum is about 50% above steel in the estimator ballpark.

Extra dents after the first are about half that dent’s normal rate when they are handled during the same visit. The estimator gives a ballpark; photos and the on-site check confirm the final price.

Ford questions

Can paintless dent repair keep the factory paint on my Ford?

Yes, when the paint is intact and the panel is a good candidate. PDR is not a paint repair, so broken paint changes the next step.

Why do you need the year and photos?

They help us identify panel material, lines, trim, sensors, and access before we give you a useful range.

What if the paint is broken or the metal is stretched?

We decline repairs with broken paint or stretched metal when PDR is not likely to hold. We will tell you that before work starts.
